Diana Taurasi

Diana Taurasi, from Chino Hills, CA, was born to an Argentine mother and Italian father who used Spanish as their preferred language at home. Diana is a talented and hard-working professional basketball player whose evidence of success appeared early, as she scored over 3000 career points for Don Lugo High School. Her work ethic and abilities continued to soar as she helped to continue the winning legacy at UCONN under Coach Geno Auriemma. Taurasi led the team to three consecutive NCAA Championships and was the No.1 pick in the 2004 WNBA draft.

Diana has always displayed a “team first” attitude towards the game, and although the individual accolades are secondary to her, her accomplishments are primary among some of the great basketball players of all time, male or female.
